Next week is SOCAP’s annual conference, Re-Imagine Customer Care. The title alone has me excited to learn about new processes and technology for improving and, dare I say, re-imagining customer care. If you are attending the conference to learn more about the changes in customer care, you are not alone. More C-level executives rank customer experience as a main priority, and money is increasingly being spent on improving brand experience and customer journeys. With this shift, technology providers and customer experience industry influencers have innovated the approach and technology used to power these exceptional experiences.
SOCAP brings together a dynamic community of customer experience leaders, who believe that companies must provide exceptional experiences in order to survive in today’s competitive, consumer driven world. Bright Pattern is excited to be a part of this customer experience revolution and is happy to be partnering with SOCAP to showcase some of the most customer-centric, easy-to-use, and innovative contact center technology, provided by Bright Pattern.
SOCAP events provide many tracks, sessions, and technology spotlights, which can make it hard to decide where to spend your time. That’s why we are providing our top five tips for making the most out of this year’s event.
1 – Get There Early for Networking Opportunities – Day 1 of SOCAP’s annual conference starts out strong with a full day of networking opportunities. You can start your day at 8:00 a.m. with a guided hike or 9:00 a.m with the annual golf tournament. It even includes breakfast! The day ends with a welcome reception you won’t want to miss! This will be a great chance to grab a drink and network with top technology providers in the customer experience space.
2 – Join the Bright Pattern Solution Showcase – Bright Pattern’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, Ted Hunting, will be presenting a solution showcase on creating and measuring great omnichannel customer journeys on Monday, October 21, at 1:00 p.m. Hunting will discuss the importance of omnichannel, keys for getting started, and omnichannel use cases for Bright Pattern Contact Center.

3 – Attend SOCAP Keynotes – If you’ve been to a SOCAP event, you know how good the main conference keynotes are. SOCAP brings in some of the most dynamic thought leaders that will have you entertained and inspired! This year’s event has keynotes from Bruce Turkel, international marketing expert; Sheryl Connelly, global consumer trends expert and futurist at Ford Motor Company; Todd Johnson, President of Christmas Tree Shops and Bed, Bath & Beyond; and Alex Banayan, a nationally bestselling business author.
4 – Visit Exhibitor Booths – The Bright Pattern team will be at booth 11 from October 21 to 22 in the expo hall, providing free, live demonstrations of our award-winning and analyst-backed omnichannel cloud contact center software. Stop by if you want to learn more about your contact center needs or explore new options with emerging channels like social messengers with AI and bots, video, and more.
5 – Network – The SOCAP team always provides great opportunities to network during the event. Morning coffee, lunch, and end-of-day happy hour networking is a great time to head to the expo hall for free food and beverages, plus the opportunity to talk with industry luminaries at the technology booths.
